What I love about the acting prep which Firth talks about, it’s all about the inner life…it’s empathetic, emotionally, to the King. Colin Firth connects to the King, and identifies on an emotional level. And, he doesn’t simplify it, by ‘going for [an emotional] result’ as he preps the acting role, and decides how to approach this character… He discusses the character not only with a intellectual understanding of what is going through the mind of the King—but in a way that is an emotional process, with active emotional reality. There are big stakes, but not just in theory. Rather, in emotional ‘actibility’.

Scott Feinberg is someone who I follow on Twitter, but I don’t follow his work, majorly. Only because I already have my favorite Oscarologists already, and they serve me just fine. My usual faves are also usually right on, in predictions. [I will be posting all about them, too...]

So I haven’t thoroughly checked out Scott Feinberg. I am looking on Twitter to see if he comes up with anything exceptional to add… at which point I may follow him as an Oscarologist fave.

Congratulations To All The Actors, And Actor Ensemble Casts, Winners And Nominees Of The SAG Awards…. a great acting performance, and want that person, that movie, to win; because I have been so emotionally moved, or just wowed down to my socks. Then, I remind myself that I haven’t seen everything. Some people in the Academy are exceptionally busy with very demanding jobs…
