The music was great, and they both were sexy as heck.

Here’s Oscar Nominated For Best Actor, Jeremy Renner, in an early music video, of Pink’s. He plays a sexy guy, no lines, tiny part, sexy looking. Bi-ig cowboy hat.
Interesting… When I put Renner’s name into YouTube’s search pane, I got a slew of mashups, made by what seemed to be very hip teenage girls. Made prior to The Hurt Locker.
[early acting videos]
The Hurt Locker, Directed by Kathryn Bigelow, already won a Directors Guild Award. It’s little David to the big Goliath, Avatar; for an Oscar, now. Here’s The Hurt Locker film trailer; and two film clips. In case you are like most of America, and haven’t seen it yet. I have. I thought it was the [...]

Scott Feinberg is someone who I follow on Twitter, but I don’t follow his work, majorly. Only because I already have my favorite Oscarologists already, and they serve me just fine. My usual faves are also usually right on, in predictions. [I will be posting all about them, too...]
So I haven’t thoroughly checked out Scott Feinberg. I am looking on Twitter to see if he comes up with anything exceptional to add… at which point I may follow him as an Oscarologist fave.
So why put him up here?
Because he has a video. Sorry to say.
Christopher McKay’s performance in Orson Welles was unheralded, all around. I think it slipped by in the press, and that movie was released at an unfortunate time, which, no one could’ve foreseen.
Along with the film, the other big news that got pushed aside was the acting ability, the performance, of this actor, brand new to film; who really deserved, far and away, much more notice than he got.

Ryan Bingham, who wrote this song called ‘The Weary Kind’, sings it in this video.
It was written by the singer, along with T-Bone Burnett.
In ‘Crazy Heart’, this song is sung by Jeff Bridges, and he does a really fine job. But I am including this here, so you may hear a different version; one by the writer, himself.
And, because Ryan Bingham’s voice has a perfectly broken sound. Listen, to hear what I mean…

The Hurt Locker only made $12 million dollars, yet it is such a well-made film, that it beat out all the others for the DGA, including Avatar.
What are the considerations that go into an Oscar© win, for Best Picture? There’s some obvious ones, and there’s some subtle ones.
As I’ve always said, you’ve just gotta hope that the Academy Members watch the films, first. All of the films, I mean.
